Sky Lights
Roof Lanterns
A pitched glazed roof that adds height, light and a genuine focal point.
Lantern
Roof Lanterns
Because a lantern is raised and pitched, it catches light from every direction through the day rather than only when the sun is overhead. The pitch also sheds rain and debris, so the glass stays cleaner than a flat unit.
Frames are thermally broken aluminium, powder coated to any RAL reference, with ridge and rafter bars kept as slim as the span allows. Self-cleaning and solar-control glass are both available, which is worth specifying on a south-facing roof.

The Detail
Why our roof lanterns work
Light all day
Multiple pitched faces catch the sun from every direction as it moves.
Adds height
The raised ridge gives a flat-roofed room a sense of volume it otherwise lacks.
Stays cleaner
The pitch sheds rain and debris rather than collecting it.
